Interview with ACW Wrestler Bobby Starr!
One time in my life, before this sports media stuff, I thought I wanted to be a Pro-Wrestler. The first time I walked into the Brain Busters academy,I found out Bobby Starr was the teacher. Bobby Starr has done it all in Pro Wrestling. From WCW to WWE, he has faced some of the toughest fighters in the wrestling ring.
Still to this day, I have alot of respect for Bobby Starr as a wrestler and teacher. And when you have a athlete like Bobby Starr in your corner, as will be the case for Brian Hardy (son of former WWF Legend Barry Hardy) its the best insurance policy you can have going into ACW Destiny. I recently had the chance to talk to Bobby Star and here is what he had to say...
Tim Lumber: You have a big resume in Pro-Wrestling, could you give us a quick rundown on organizations you have wrestled and worked for?
Bobby Starr: Well starting off in the indies like everyone else , i worked for the WWF the first time in 1990 then on and off for like the next 10 years then WcW came to Baltimore with TV tapings and i made some calls got in then stayed pretty loyal to WcW for almost 9 years.. I worked for the "New AWA" and won their tv title and to this day hold that title and defend it on occation at smaller indies all over the east coast... As far as indies goes i stick to the HOPWF now out of Hagerstown, MD and the MCW out of Baltimore... At one time i had a investment into the MEWF out of baltimore but they met their demise due to many internal problems...
Tim Lumber: You were in the WWF with The Executioner Barry Hardy. At ACW Destiny you will be in the corner of his son Brian Hardy. Have you trained him, and how much potential doen Brian Hardy have?
Bobby Starr: Brian's a great kid and learning fast... i worked with his dad for many years and traveled many thousands of miles with him and now I am trying to help his son with different ins and outs of the business , last time out Vs. Buddy Landell it ended in a good way for Brain , its all about relaxing and learning and waiting for ur open to pounce... Buddy has been around for many many years and worked all over the world but on that nite in November he lost to the new kid on the block , this time his dads partner GILLBERG from the WWF is in the sights and the same will fall on to the former Job Squad member...
Tim Lumber: If somebody was to attempt to interfere in Brian Hardys matchup at ACW Destiny...what would happen to that individual?
Bobby Starr: Their wont be any , Brian has stayed smart and instead of investing in friends who turn their backs on u , hes spent his time in the gym and ring learning more and more to gain the experience that it would take to take someone like GILLBERG out....
Tim Lumber: Last but not least...can we expect to see you in a future ACW Wrestling event?
Bobby Starr: I will be at the upcomming event in Brians corner and we are negotiating to keep me around for the future in ACW.
