Interview with ACW Wrestler...Ashley Nicely
At ACW Destiny, she will be the special guest referee for the Womans #1 Contender Match between Sara Del Ray vs Kacee Carlisle. She just happens to be a fan favorite, and one of the more popular woman wrestlers on the East Coast. Her name is Ashley Nicely...and her wrestling skills have been perfected very nicely!
The ACW Destiny event is scheduled for January 24th at the Boys and Girls Club in Annapolis Md., located at 121 Southvilla Ave. There has been alot of buzz about this upcoming event! We start out, our first of many ACW Star interviews with ACW Womans Wrestler Ashley Nicely. Here is what she had to say about the upcoming event.
Tim Lumber: At ACW Destiny in Maryland on Jan.24th, you are going to be the special guest referee, between Sara Del Ray vs Kacee Carlisle. The winner will be the #1 Contender for the ACW Womans Championship. How do you feel about these 2 woman?
Ashley Nicely: I totally respect both of these women! Sara Del Ray has accomplished so much and Kacee Carlisle has been wrestling for years as well. I would be honored to wrestle either one of them. Let's just hope they can control themselves in the ring and have an equal, fair match.
Tim Lumber: Going into this match as the special guest referee, has it crossed your mind that these 2 woman may NOT respect you as a ref?
Ashley Nicely: That has crossed my mind. They may see me as this little girl trying to tell them what to do. Hopefully they will listen to me and play by the rules.
Tim Lumber: You are a accomplished wrestler, and are currently a Champion in another wrestling promotion. Will we being seeing you in the ring with ACW?
Ashley Nicely: Definitely! I am looking forward to wrestling some of the best talent in the women's wrestling world today. I watch the female matches at the shows, and I study each and every female wrestler. That way I know exactly what to look for when I wrestle these women.
Tim Lumber: Some people say, you are one of the top womans wrestlers in the World. Are you the best...or one of the best?
Ashley Nicely: I don't think I'm the best, but maybe one day I will be. Everyone would like to consider themselves the best. I just do what I can and make sure I give it my all each and every time I'm out in that ring, whether I'm wrestling or just reffing like I am on January 24th at ACW.
Tim Lumber: Last but not least. How do YOU feel about the ACW Womans Chamion Roxie Cotton, and do you think she is a deserving ACW Womans Champion?
Ashley Nicely: I have worked with Roxie Cotton in the past and I'm sure we will bump heads and work together in the future. I think she's a hard worker and definitely deserves that title, but I will be looking to wrestle her for that belt in the near future.
