Hot Dog Champ, To Fight Saturday Night in Illegal Bare Knuckle Fight in Wv.
Joe Moko, the bad boy and former amateur hot dog eating champion, turned illegal bareknuckel fighter in West Virginia, could die tommorow night in a fight, he will be doing in his now recovering brother’s honor, who was paralizied while facing Max Meadows badboy, and possible steroid user Mike”Body Slam” Springs. The 400 pounder Joe Moko, won his last fight, at a secluded farm, by KO’ing Robert Van Peet in less than 1 minute.
Joe Moko’s brother Matt Moko, would try his hands at a match-up, despite only being 5′5″ and 115 pounds. Mike”Body Slam” Springs who has a steroid lock-up record bigger than Barry Bonds, weighs in at 235lbs, and has a bench press of 500lbs. During a match-up with Matt Moko, Springs would slam him hard, causing severe problems to his back disks, and the end result, would leave Matt Moko paralizied. The rules at these WV fights are simple…your corner has to throw in the towel. A guy acts as a ref, but only breaks up fight once towel is thrown in.
Moko, has vowed to get revenge tommorow night(saturday) he will bring to the fight a coffin. His corner will be instructed NOT to throw in the towel….no matter what!! The now 413 pounder, will either leave as a winner or leave via coffin. I caught up with my WV reporter Tim Conway, who will be there tommorow night for the fight, and here is his official report.
TIM CONWAY at Max Meadows, Wv reporting…
Temperatures here in Max Meadows are expected to be in the low teens saturday night. Local weathermen are calling for a wind chill below zero. The climate could be a factor, or a benefit for the 413 pound hot dog eating champion, Joe Moko, better known as Golden Gutt. We wont know of the fight location until around 6-7pm on saturday night. We were told at that time, we would be paged on a pager, and given the location.
Max Meadows, is considered by some, as the most lawless town in America, it is very frequent you will see Cops here, and the town is run by these illegal fight promoters. Now Joe Moko, will risk his life tommorow night, and it will be a big test for him, Springs is considered by many, as a future UFC prospect, he has good ground game, and his punches will knock you out.
Last time we seen the legendary Joe Moko, he would be fighting in the snow. The weather would not be a factor in his last fight, tommorow night, we could see some hail, which makes things even more interesting. Tickets went for $50, and of the reported 600 residents here, 85 have been sold, which include the right to gamble on the fight. Moko told me earlier….its do or die.
The questions here, will be, can Springs slam the bigman to the hard cold ground. If he can get Moko down, his corner will have a tough situation, and perhaps his life on the line. Moko, has been excellent on his feet, only being taken down in the 1st match we seen him do, but he had little experience at that time. It will be a wild night for sure, one that this town will be looking forward to, despite the cold conditions expected outside tommorow night. I am Tim Conway, reporting from West Virginia.
